Features of UNTLaser ’s Alexandrite Laser Hair Removal Machine

The 755nm Alexandrite laser wavelength can be more efficiently absorbed by the melanin in hair follicles. This improves hair removal efficiency and reduces energy waste.

Thanks to its high targeting ability for melanin, the Alexandrite Laser effectively treats fine, soft hair that is difficult to manage with traditional hair removal methods.

The highly efficient energy absorption mechanism allows hair follicles to absorb sufficient heat in a short period of time, thereby improving the effectiveness of each treatment session.

The epidermal melanin content of Fitzpatrick skin types I–III individuals is lower. The laser energy of Alexandrite laser can be concentrated more effectively on the hair follicles.

We use a large-sized crystal rod (ø8 diameter, 130mm length) and a xenon lamp imported from the UK to ensure a consistent 500W energy output.

The device can be equipped with an Android system and an interactive screen. The displaying parameters are clear and even beginners can easily read them on the screen.

The generated spot has good circularity and uniform energy distribution. Six spot sizes can be achieved through a sliding adjustment mechanism.

We offer a liquid nitrogen cooling solution for your machine, which can lower the surface temperature to -10°C. If you can’t purchase liquid nitrogen, we can support an air-cooling solution.
Multifunctional
The Alexandrite laser hair removal machine uses photothermal effects to destroy melanin in hair follicles, thereby achieving hair removal and reducing pigmentation. In addition, it can stimulate collagen regeneration to rejuvenate the skin. Beyond these functions, the thermal effects of the Alexandrite laser also act on hemoglobin, helping to reduce the appearance of dilated blood vessels. Throughout these processes, the Alexandrite laser hair removal device operates efficiently by precisely heating the target area, minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissue.

Dual-Wavelength Design Available
UNTLaser’s Alexandrite laser hair removal machine offers two wavelength options: 755 nm and 755 nm + 1064 nm. The 755 nm Alexandrite laser has a higher absorption rate for melanin, which is particularly suitable for fine, soft, and dark hair. While the 1064nm wavelength has deeper penetration. It is more useful for individuals with darker skin tones. The dual-wavelength configuration integrates both wavelengths into a single device, enabling treatment for a wider range of skin types and providing broader, more flexible applications.
Greater Safety
Our Alexandrite laser hair removal machine has a structure with separate water and electrical circuits. These systems operate independently without interfering with one another, reducing operational risks such as water leaks or electrical faults. For operational safety, we have equipped the device with an emergency stop button and a key switch, ensuring controllability and reducing operational risks.
Moreover, the switch at the fiber optic connector is linked to the power supply. During actual operation, the power supply will only function normally when the fiber optic cable is fully inserted, preventing damage to the fiber caused by improper insertion or removal.

Applications of UNTLaser ’s Alexandrite Laser Hair Removal Machine

The Alexandrite laser provides highly effective hair removal. When the melanin in hair follicles absorbs the laser energy, the follicles are destroyed by the photothermal effect, thereby removing the hair. Since the follicles themselves are destroyed by the laser, this treatment also inhibits future hair growth. It is suitable for individuals with Fitzpatrick skin types I through III or for the removal of fine, soft hair.

The Alexandrite laser can treat vascular lesions such as spider angiomas, telangiectasia, and thread veins. Oxyhemoglobin in the blood absorbs this type of laser energy and converts it into heat, allowing abnormally dilated blood vessels to be eliminated and excreted through the body’s metabolic processes, thereby improving issues such as redness.

Pathological conditions such as age spots and freckles are typically caused by the accumulation of melanin. The Alexandrite laser precisely targets and is absorbed by melanin, shattering the melanin particles. This makes them easier for the body’s metabolic system to clear, thereby achieving the effects of lightening pigmentation and removing lesions.

Alexandrite laser devices can also be used for skin rejuvenation treatments. The laser energy removes existing dullness or rough skin texture and stimulates the formation of collagen and new skin tissue, ultimately resulting in smoother, firmer skin.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is Alexandrite Laser Hair Removal Technology Widely Used?
An Alexandrite laser hair removal machine is a type of device that uses a solid Alexandrite crystal as the laser medium. Due to its shorter wavelength, the Alexandrite laser has a higher absorption rate in melanin, so that it can achieve highly effective hair removal results.
Moreover, the 755-nm wavelength allows it to target hair follicles on the skin’s surface more effectively. So it is particularly suitable for individuals with fair skin and for removing dark hair.
Nowadays, thanks to its excellent hair removal results, the Alexandrite laser is widely used in professional care facilities such as beauty salons and dermatology clinics to provide patients with effective hair removal services.
How Do Alexandrite Laser Hair Removal Machines Work?
During the treatment process, the laser emitted by the machine precisely targets hair follicles in specific areas. The laser energy is absorbed by melanin and converted into heat, which destroys the hair follicles and achieves hair removal.
This process is highly precise and does not damage the surrounding healthy skin, resulting in minimal irritation to the patient’s skin surface, which is why it is so popular.
What is the Working Procedure of Alexandrite Laser Hair Removal Machines?
- Before the treatment, the patient’s physical condition is assessed to ensure they are not pregnant, have not recently been sunburned, and have no open wounds in the treatment area.
- Next, both the practitioner and the patient must wear protective eyewear to prevent direct laser exposure and potential eye damage. Only then can the practitioner start the machine and adjust the settings.
- During the treatment, the technician places the handpiece against the area to be treated, activates the laser, and moves it slowly across the skin.
- Throughout the procedure, the cooling system operates continuously to cool the patient’s skin and ensure comfort during the treatment.
What are Your Alexandrite Laser Hair Removal Machine Types?
755nm Alexandrite Hair Removal Machine
This machine utilizes a single-wavelength Alexandrite laser and is suitable for Fitzpatrick skin types I–III. Additionally, the 755nm wavelength can precisely target prominent brown spots, achieving effective lightening or removal.
755+1064nm Alexandrite Laser Hair Removal Machine
These machines typically combine Alexandrite and Nd:YAG laser technologies. The 755nm wavelength targets fine, soft, and dark hair, while the 1064nm wavelength has greater tissue penetration, allowing it to reach deep hair follicles and effectively remove coarse, thick hair.
Equipment combining these two wavelengths offers greater flexibility in application, and the Nd:YAG laser is safer for people with darker skin tones. Beauty salons can use this equipment to create more personalized hair removal plans for individual clients.
Who Is The Ideal Audience For The Alexandrite Laser Hair Removal Device?
- Individuals with Fitzpatrick skin types I–III.
- Users with dark or fine hair.
- Clients seeking rapid hair removal over large areas.
- Clients seeking treatment for superficial pigmentation issues (such as freckles or age spots).
However, for clients with Fitzpatrick skin types IV–VI, as well as those with lighter hair, the shorter wavelength of the Alexandrite laser may not be safe; we recommend using a 1064 nm long-pulse Nd:YAG laser instead.
Which Areas Are Suitable For The Alexandrite Laser Hair Removal Device, And Which Are Not?
The Alexandrite laser is highly effective at removing dark hair. It can be used on areas with high melanin concentration, such as the underarms, as well as areas with dark, coarse hair, such as the bikini line. In addition, it can be used on areas requiring large-scale hair removal, such as the arms and calves.
But we do not recommend using the Alexandrite laser on sensitive and delicate areas such as the upper lip, around the eyes, or the inner labia. This is because the skin in these areas is often thinner and may even contain mucous membranes. The laser’s stimulation is more intense, and the risk of burns is higher.
Is The Alexandrite Laser Hair Removal Device Suitable For Clients With Darker Skin Tones?
No, this is also a factor you need to pay more attention to. Since the 755nm wavelength of the Alexandrite laser is easily absorbed by melanin on the skin’s surface, it may damage skin pigmentation and result in depigmentation. Furthermore, it has more risks for individuals with darker skin, as heat can accumulate on the skin’s surface and potentially cause burns.
To prevent such incidents, we recommend using lasers with longer wavelengths, such as those that combine Alexandrite and Nd:YAG laser technologies, or a long-pulse Nd:YAG laser hair removal machine.
How Many Sessions Are Typically Required For Alexandrite Laser Hair Removal?
Generally, the course of Alexandrite laser hair removal consists of approximately 3–6 sessions, though the specific number may vary depending on factors such as the treatment area, skin tone, and hair condition.
To minimize laser-induced irritation and aid in skin recovery, we recommend spacing treatments 3–8 weeks apart. If the client notices new hair growth in the treated area during this interval, they are ready for the next session.
How Safe Is Alexandrite Laser Hair Removal Treatment?
Before undergoing formal treatment, your patients may be concerned about the risks and safety of the procedure.
First, you can assure them that the Alexandrite laser targets only specific areas of the skin and does not damage surrounding healthy tissue. Besides, our hair removal device has a powerful cooling system that quickly lowers the surface temperature of the treated skin, preventing discomfort.
At the same time, due to the energy’s own properties, the patient’s skin may experience mild swelling or redness after treatment. These symptoms will completely subside within a few days. During this period, the patient should take proper sun protection measures and avoid additional irritation to aid recovery.
